    With the Coast Guard deal, I find it interesting that the WP story you link to doesn’t have a link to the actual video. Biggest rule of helping make things “go viral” (even news articles) – make them easy to share, and give them a reason to share. I’d much rather pass on the link to this blog entry if I wanted to share this story with people. You have a link to the story AND a link to the content in question all in one tidy link.

    I wonder if the WP did that because they didn’t want to link to something that might get them in leagal trouble, or be seen to endorse something that could become a scandal? i on the other hand have no reputation to protect :-)
